Darwin Exhibition Opens at UCC Library

A special exhibtion will open Feb 12th highlighting Corks connections to the man credited with devloping and explaining the theory of evolution by natural selection.
The exhibit includes species colected by Darwin in Maldonado, Patagonia, In South America during the HMS Beagle voyage ( 1831 -1836). Also on display will be a first edition of Darwins'' the Origin of Species part of UCC's library Special Collection.
The exhibition was scheduled to end on 31 March 2009 and now will be kept open for another week
